CLEARWATER — A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, accused of having sex multiple times with a 12-year-old girl.
Ezequiel Paloma, who also goes by the name of Patricio Castillo Ochoa, was charged with lewd and lascivious battery of a child. He was also charged with failure to appear on a charge of driving without a valid license, stemming from a previous arrest.
According to an arrest report, the girl said she and Paloma had sex on several occasions over the past three to four months.
The report says Paloma was the girl's "boyfriend" and they met through a mutual "friend," who is also a juvenile.
Paloma, whose address is listed as 201 Alpine Road, Clearwater, according to jail records, was being held in the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $25,639 bail Wednesday.
