In film making, actors and actresses often have to step out of their comfort zone to truly get into a role. Amanda Seyfried knows this feeling very well, after sharing an on-screen kiss with female costar Megan Fox in last year’s thriller, “Jennifer’s Body.” Amanda recently shared another onscreen same-sex kiss with costar Julianne Moore in her upcoming film, “Chloe.” This time, while Amanda may not be more at ease with it, she’s definitely able to see the difference in the two experiences.
"Well, the situation was very different," she told MTV News on the Oscars red carpet. "Two very different stories and very different women."
Amanda may have more experience kissing women, but it’s not getting easier for her, she admits. "It'll never be easier. ... It's easier with men for sure," she said. "But the first kiss with anyone's awkward. The scene between Julianne and myself was very, very intimate and very erotic, so it was definitely a little bit harder [than in 'Jennifer's Body'], I think, but necessary."
“Chloe” is a remake of the French film "Natalie," in which a woman, (Julianne ) hires an escort (Amanda) to test the fidelity of her husband (Liam Neeson), which leads to dangerous complications. The film hits theaters on March 19.
