A woman being questioned by police about historical sex abuse in south Down has been charged.
She will appear in court in Newtownards on Tuesday morning on 15 charges of cruelty, four of indecent assault and four of gross indecency.
On Monday, two men in their 50s appeared before Downpatrick Magistrates Court charged with a catalogue of child sex abuse offences including rape.
Four other people arrested as part of the same enquiry were released on bail.
One of the men in court on Monday was a former RUC reservist who was accused of raping a girl, gross indecency, making threats to kill and having a gun.
He denied the offences between 1983 and 1986, but admitted to a recent offence of possession of ammunition.
The second man denied rape and a series of child sex and cruelty charges between 1979 and 1986.
A detective sergeant told the court the allegations in court related to the "most horrific, wicked, sexual and physical abuse of children".
Both men, who are from the south Down area, were refused bail and are due to appear before separate hearings on different dates next month.
